Thanks to a series of ambitious and absurdly expensive renovations now being called “The Even Bigger Dig,” Snell basement has been successfully connected to Snell basement. This incredible accomplishment means that students will no longer foolishly walk into the Snell library’s basement in search of Snell basement. Instead, students can enter the basement from the interior or exterior entrance, and then get lost in the tunnels.
Asked for comment, lead engineer for the project Bill Durr told the Trusty Husky, “They said it couldn’t be done. They said that connecting the basement of Snell to the Snell basement would be too expensive, too challenging, too confusing. Well look who’s laughing now huh?” At press time, school administration had announced plans to install a new basement underneath the Snell Engineering Center, also to be called the Snell basement.
